Living Life On Purpose

Four words that are simplistic and also sound obvious. Even with the way it’s worded, it seems to be impossible to not accomplish. But ask yourself if tomorrow was guaranteed, would you still love today like the clock was nevertheless ticking against you. To live life on purpose, you position yourself to engage life with action, but intentional. To know that each day we are given a new 24 hours to intentionally make the end of our day better then how it started. Walking with that urgency allows us to make more of our day and to possibly change our outcomes. To me, living life on purpose doesn’t guarantee change and doesn’t demand you to make every waking second a moment. It does however allow you to further yourself in things that may have been problematic and difficult. It places you in positions unbeknownst to you, that could be opportunities. Having this mindset has help me to seize more of my day and make more of it. This phrase could mean multiple different things to different people. To some, it could be empty words. I write this as millennial who has had both sides analyzed and experienced. Someone who has had to redefine his way of thinking in order to see the outcomes change for himself. It isn’t something that comes natural to us in a world and environment that is constantly changing and evolving. This is where our mind and our mindset must shift and alter, in order to change with it.  Nothing is guaranteed with this way of thinking other than giving yourself a better chance to change your circumstances and have a more positive outlook on life. Even that is only a start to allowing yourself to take advantage of the rights you were born with. We all deserve a life worth telling a story about. We deserve to see ourselves the way we dream and sacrifice for. We deserve to make memories and live life unapologetically. We deserve a peace and understanding of our own lives that it allows us to help others shine. The sun shines on purpose until the moon comes to replace it. And even then, the function remains the same. You eat on purpose, you sleep on purpose, you laugh on purpose, you vent on purpose and so forth. We unfortunately have no control of our time here on this earth, but to do all those things are a part of living., So why not do the rest on purpose as well. We already have enough in this world that plagues us and causes confusion, so give yourself some clarity and fair chance to gain the life you seek. If you took time to read all of this, ask yourself why you didn’t stop reading 50 words ago? Did you read the rest by accident? Or did you just purposely take a step.
